Match Report Press Report

Dunnings - Acorns IV Lost to Dolphin III in a close match.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 5 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. The away team proved the statisticians wrong though by clinching a great win.

On paper, the number 1 string should have been the closest, with only 5 ranking points separating the two players before the match. Home advantage prevailed though, with Alexander Over winning through.

It was the number 3 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 104 Points ! Victory finally going to the Home Player, Bruce Pearman.

Player of the match must be the Away number 2 string, Ricky Head, who over-turned a 60 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
