Match Report Press Report

The West Worthing Club II Lost to Weald V in a close match.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 2 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. The away team proved the statisticians wrong though by clinching a great win.

On paper, the number 2 string should have been the closest, with only 17 ranking points separating the two players before the match. Home advantage prevailed though, with James ULLYATT winning through.

It was the number 3 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 131 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player and Player of the match, James Holloway.

Player of the match must be the Away number 1 string, Julian Ward, who over-turned a 210 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
